Despite the overwhelming sadness in our hearts and the eagerness to put this truly terrible day out of our minds we must never forget those who died on 9/11/2001. Looking back now I realize I'm still deeply affected by the events that took place that day. Each and every time I see the video of the first or second plane crashing into the World Trade Center I am reminded of the horrors humankind is capable of inflecting on one another.
